Terms of Service

These terms cover A2L Crosswalk (“we”, “us”): the equipment lookup, the course, any data files you purchased, and this website (together, the “Service”). By purchasing or using the Service you agree to them.

What you get

A one-time purchase gives you personal access to the Service. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. “Lifetime access” means access for as long as we operate the Service. If we ever discontinue it, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email. We may improve, change or add features over time.

Payments and refunds

Checkout and payment are handled by Hotmart, our payment partner; we never see your card details. If the Service isn’t right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase from your Account page, through Hotmart, or by writing to the address that sent your access email. Access ends when the refund is issued.

Where the equipment data comes from

Equipment ratings come from the U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR certified air-source heat pump list, a public government dataset, re-imported weekly. Manufacturers certify and can change or withdraw these figures, so the Service may lag or differ from the current certification. Replacement rankings are a starting point generated from capacity, product type and brand; they know nothing about a specific house, its ducts or its load.

The Service reports certification data. It is not installation guidance, not a load calculation, not a determination that equipment is legal to install, and not a guarantee that a rebate will be paid. Confirm model numbers, refrigerant and ratings against the equipment nameplate, the manufacturer’s documentation and the rebate program’s own rules before quoting or installing.

The course is education, not certification

The course explains how residential HVAC equipment works and prepares you for EPA certification exams. It does not issue any EPA Section 608 or 609 certification or any other credential; those come only from an EPA-approved certifying organization. Completing the course does not qualify you to buy or handle refrigerant or to work on equipment. Hands-on work — including brazing, evacuation, charging, refrigerant recovery and live electrical work — requires proper training, supervision, certification and, in many places, a license. A2L refrigerants are mildly flammable. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, applicable codes and your local rules.

Trademarks

Brand and model names appear only to identify equipment and belong to their owners. ENERGY STAR is a registered trademark of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. A2L Crosswalk is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the EPA, AHRI, any manufacturer or any utility.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in link and order code private. Access is for you and your own business.
• Don’t resell or share access, and don’t scrape or systematically copy the Service.
• We may suspend access that is shared, resold or used to overload the Service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
